Prayer Tonight
I know.
It's been awhile.
Quick blurts to facebook, more time spent on my younger two children's schoolwork, lots of time with our granddaughter, and still other time on paperwork for our adoption of our son in Africa (yes, praise God, that is moving forward! I will post on that shortly, please pray for our son Dominique, that he can come home soon!) - all has kept me from blogging.
But tonight I come asking for prayer.
Little D has been in our daughter and son-in-law's foster care her entire life, all almost-sixteen-months of it. They are all that parents should be, and their love for her is deep, abiding, unmatched.
Tomorrow there is a court hearing to determine the timeline for her return to her biological father. The plan for social services is for her to live with him in a month.
I ask any reader of this blog to pray with us for a miracle - that Little D would be able to stay with her family and in her home, and to be adopted by the Mommy and Daddy who know hold her, sing to her, teach her, feed her, comfort her, pray with her, and love her.
This is our prayer, this is our plea, this is our heart's desire. We bring it all before our Savior, believing He alone can do this, and He alone will get the glory.
Thank you.
